  I had an eye exam scheduled on Monday, May 14, 2018. It seemed to take forever until I was finally seen by the doc himself. Then another long wait after my eyes were dilated. The office was hot, lots of people waiting.
  While I was waiting to see the doc after the dilation, I was seen by Mark to get the frames and lenses done for my future glasses.
  Not only was Mark not very well groomed (compared to others in the office) with dirty hiking shoes on but he quickly lost interest in getting me some frames when I told him that I live on disability and cannot afford $600 frames that he showed me initially. Instead he went and pulled 2 drawers out of the cheapest frames, put them on a counter and told me those are the 'cheap' ones and left me standing there. NO help at all in guiding me which would fit best for my face. I was stunned. Never has that happened to me.
  Then I called my friend over to help me, since he wouldn't, and we found a pair that I think would work. Since Mark wasn't anywhere to be found I went to the reception area to ask for him and there he was, in the back room. Not paying any attention to me until the receptionist called him to finish helping me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL by Mark.
  We finished up the glasses, I did get progressive lenses (I know they cost more), and checked out. 2 weeks until I'll get them. Cost? $214.
  My experience the last time in 2012 with Abba was much different. I was helped, regardless of how much my copay was (at the time I had vision insurance), etc. This time, it was different. He couldn't spend time with me because I wasn't going to make him enough money with the frames. I know I will not be returning there for my next eye exam or getting glasses. There are enough places out there that will be glad to get my business.
  One thing I do want to add. He did get me a cheaper price on the lenses. Initially $299 for the set he got them down to $179 for some deal. That is the only positive thing I can say about this visit.
  UPDATE: 5/26/18. My glasses came in on Wednesday afternoon, so I went to pick it up. Glasses appeared to be good, but once at home, I realized that the progressive lenses are not working properly. I can't see the text my computer screen unless I put my head back and look out the very bottom of the lenses. I'm going back today to get this fixed hopefully.

  Worst place I have ever been. They don't care about their customers or people in general and just the other day, I saw a young man come in the same day I had an appointment and I overheard him talking about one of their nurses saying she had almost killed him on the road and endangered many people because she was driving crazy road raging. They didn't do anything to help him or satisfy him, in fact they said it was harassment for him to come in and report that after following her and made him leave. Saw the whole thing. Now I know this had nothing to do with myself or my appointment, which even then the lady who helped me never smiled. I had been greeted quite abruptly and rather rudely when I had first walked through the door. Afterwards throughout my entire appointment the nurse or doctor or whatever was pushing me to pay for a service I did not want because I had felt it was excess. Glad I was out of there quickly. Beyond all that it was shady, very shady business with that young guy and everything. I will not be returning and I will discourage others from doing so as well.

  Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were also great about explaining the insurance and how to get the best glasses for a good price. Definitely going here for all my vision needs!
