  Long winded, but I want you to know the full story.
  
  Our van was about to die in the AutoZone parking lot. Christopher came out, and we expressed our concern about turning the engine off, but he assured us that was the only way to check the battery. He took the battery out and hooked it up. An hour later he said the battery was bad. I asked about the terminals and he said one didn't look good. He also said he would hook it all up for me as my husband was walking home to get the car. He hooked everything up and I tried to start the car, but it didn't even click. Chris tried everything he could, though it seemed the task was beyond his skill. He even worked in the rain and thunder, even though his boss kept saying it was too dangerous. He promised to come back the next day and try to get it hooked up enough to at least get it home. We had to leave it overnight in the rain, with the windows down. Christopher got trash bags to cover the windows for us.
  
  The next day, I called twice. The first time they didn't know anything about it, and said Christopher wasn't scheduled to be in today. The second time they only told me they wouldn't tow it, but keep them updated on what we were doing about it. We went back and my husband looked at it, and we walked next door to Brakes Plus to see if they could do anything. They said they were busy but would look at it as soon as they could. We looked out the window and saw the hood down. Someone from AutoZone had tried again to get the terminals installed correctly without talking to us. Brakes Plus went over to see if they could jump start it and found that all of the wires could come loose with a slight tug, and asked that AutoZone put it in correctly before they try to jump it. AutoZone employees refused and said that it was Brakes Plus that pulled them out. Then started a battle of accusations saying it was our fault for the car dying there, that they weren't a mechanic shop, and we asked too much of them. Christopher had told us to turn the car off, and did not install the battery properly, though he went above and beyond to try to do so. Overall unhappy with our experience there, even if Christopher was trying harder, and perhaps beyond his ability. The difference at Brakes Plus was that they did not try to shift blame, but even decided to fix it when AutoZone refused to. If it weren't for the argument that ensued afterwards I would chalk it up to good intentions and miscommunication.
