  Dr. Blamires consults at Parker Modern Dentistry. I had a tooth extracted and am in the process of getting an implant. My appointment to set the post was at 8:00 a.m. but they didn’t start the work until almost 9:00 a.m. and I didn’t get out until almost 10:00. The actual procedure only took about 45 minutes, so I was irritated. Since he consults to Parker Modern Dentistry, the earliest I could get a follow up appointment at that location was four weeks so I agreed to an appointment at the River Point Dental Group office. After 45 minutes in traffic, I received a call as I was pulling into the parking lot that he had “gone to another office” for the day and I’d have to reschedule. This is the second schedule snafu with no notice from his office, and it’ll be the last. I lost an hour and a half of my day and 40 miles of driving. I sent an invoice to his office asking for reimbursement for my time and mileage. We’ll see how that turns out. This shouldn’t reflect poorly on Parker Modern Dentistry, but I’ve notified them and they were extremely apologetic. I would recommend them, but certainly not Dr. Blamires.
