    February 2011 I was diagnosed with MS, Dr. Ballard was my pcp at the time. I was very emotional about the diagnosis, and I clearly remember discussing my thoughts with Dr. Ballard regarding this potentially debilitating disease. During our brief conversation Dr. Ballard stated that I was upset because “in three years you’ll be in a wheelchair”. Well, I’m still walking, raising kids, working, and moving forward. I hope Ballard’s bedside manners are more refined now.
